Reducing energy consumption is an important requirement today when modernizing machines and systems and offers great potential for saving energy, and therefore money. That is why Coca-Cola HBC Austria GmbH put these objectives at the top of the agenda for the overhaul of transport line 2a at their bottling plant in Vienna. With the new solution using 40 MOVIGEAR® units and a number of accompanying measures, Coca-Cola Hellenic would achieve a sensational 75% reduction in energy consumption in comparison to the drive and control systems that were employed previously.
